On Monday’s episode of Plate of Origin, four teams entered the fast and furious round cooking an authentic dish in 45 minutes showcasing chicken. Cousins Dezi and Penny from Team Greece were crowned Plate of Origin champions, which aired on Channel 7 on Tuesday night.
The program featured ten teams cooking off against each other, based on national cuisines, in the “world cup of cooking”. Cousins Dezi, 41 and Penny, 33 from Team Greece were crowned Plate of Origin champions winning $100,000 with a total judges’ score of 76/90 after a three-course meal showdown with Team Vietnam’s Thanh, 31 and Duncan, 30, shown on Seven and 7 Plus..
