The perfume doesn’t seem to be particularly complicated, but the trick it performs is by no means simple; effortlessness, or at least the impression of it, always requires an invisible-to-the-naked-nose system of levers and pulleys operating under the surface. Sometimes, it feels as gelatinous as the cubes of grass jelly you get in bubble tea, at others, it smells more like rooibos tea that’s been boiled with a spoon of honey and allowed to cool on a window sill, i.e., a mixture of something tannic and something coldly sweet. My first foray into Zoologist so I played it (relatively) safe with Bee. Bee has 12-14 hour longevity and average sillage. Honeybees have a whole other agenda and are best left to do their thing (though I’ve never been stung when approaching my hive).

It's dense and even caramelized with a brown sugar type of affect and then as it dries down the spices come to balance it out.

Bee is a new perfume by Zoologist for women and men and was released in 2019. I love the Zoologist artwork. Ok after a few wearings, I have to say this is a really good fragrance. Little details like that affect me. A sickeningly sweet synthetic floral gourmand that is being hyped to the hilt in Internet forums by so called influencers. Bee is very potent and fairly linear - it fills a 20'x20' room for hours. Please log in again. Well, I get that delivering a natural scent is a trend these days and no doubt Bee has been a successful scent in that matter, but I would not want to walk around and smell like honey all day long. Totally unique and totally unisex! Definitely an oriental. This year the final six weeks of the year has seen one excellent perfume after another arrive in my mailbox. It's quickly shot into my top 5 from the brand. OK that’s a must-try for sure, adding it to my list…. I don't know that I want to smell like this but I love how this is made! It’s time to turn the tide and become wise, efficient, … A Spring beauty for sure and hands down bottle worthy for me.

I should have known better from crazy house Zoologist to try it before on a paper. Bee is a new perfume by Zoologist for women and men and was released in 2019. This fragrance is very strong and I could still smell traces of it 24 hours later.

Clearly I need to get ahold of that. The broom and heliotrope make it soft and almost powdery.

Next thing I know I take an oddly puffy/floral bite of curry (think super airy puff snack in texture) and it feels like I bit into a handful of Sichuan peppercorns on only the left side of my tongue. You have got to love gourmands and very sweet fragrances, but if you do this is such a treat and the packaging and bottle are top notch. I scurried over to my oversized Orange Blossom Perfume post to get some ideas. I actually gave it a wear out today. If you don't like sweet fragrances or honey, then obviously this isn't for you. It's smells like honey, honey comb and beeswax. Making my list, gonna try Dragonfly and Panda, maybe Hummingbird. Interesting, but not fb-worthy for me. This was gifted to me by my husband but even he loves it and I don't regret his purchase not one bit and would love to collect more. To me it was simply straight honey and weak floral. Hummingbird is by Shelley Waddington of En Voyage perfumes, she’s one of my favorite perfumers and Hummingbird smells of fruit, flowers and nectar (one of the few fruity scents I like.) Canali then crafts an accord which forms a floral honey accord to act as a kind of call and response to the top accord. That’s the wax I guess - like a beautiful candle that’s been burning for hours. After wearing it for a few days, it's easy to see what all the buzz is about. 1# honey scent at this point in time in my opinion. The first thing that struck me was how similar it is to Interlude Man by Amouage.
